1. Who is responsible for your information

2. What we collect
What you give us
When you fill out the “Contact us” form, we collect your name, phone number, email (optional), town, the nature of your request and your message. The form also records the language of the page it was sent from, so that we call you back in the right language.
When you call us or we do work at your home, we take the information needed to schedule, quote and invoice: contact details, address of the work, description of the problem.
What is collected when you send the form
When you send the form, the date and time, your IP address and your browser type are recorded with the request. They serve security and keep automated submissions out. An invisible field that only robots fill in blocks spam without collecting anything about you.
Where you came from
On your first visit, the site notes in your browser (local storage, keys starting with “mj7_”) where you arrived from: campaign parameters in the address (UTM), Google (gclid) and Meta (fbclid) click identifiers, the referring site and the entry page. These indications stay in your browser and are only sent to us along with your request, if you send one. They tell us which ads or which sites bring in requests; they contain no name and no contact details. You can erase them at any time from your browser's site data.
What we do not collect
The site has no user accounts and no online payment, and asks for no sensitive information. It is intended for adults: we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 14 without the consent of a parent or guardian.
3. Why we collect it
- To answer your request and call you back.
- To schedule a visit, prepare a quote, carry out and invoice the work.
- To keep a record of our exchanges and of the work done at your home, for follow-up and warranty.
- To know where requests come from, so that we spend our advertising in the right place.
- With your consent only: to understand how the site is used and to measure our advertising (section 4).
We never sell or rent your information. No decision about you is made by an automated process, and we do no profiling.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
By default, this site sets no analytics or advertising cookie. The tools described below are planned for the site; whether they are installed or not, they stay inactive until you have given your consent (Google Consent Mode v2, set to “denied” as soon as the page loads). Refusing changes nothing to how the site works.
A banner asks you the question on your first visit. Your answer is kept for one year and you can change it at any time from “Cookie settings”, at the bottom of every page, or with the button below.

Microsoft Clarity shares data with Microsoft for advertising purposes; this is why it is only loaded if you accept analytics, and why form fields are masked in it.
5. Who your information is shared with
We rely on providers that process information on our behalf, under contract, and only for the purposes described here. They are not allowed to use it for themselves.

We may also share information with our advisors (accountant, lawyer) when necessary, or with an authority when the law requires it. We share it with no one else.
Communication outside Quebec
Some of these providers store or process information outside Quebec, mainly in the United States. Before communicating personal information there, we make sure it receives adequate protection, in particular through these providers' contractual commitments. 6. How long we keep it
- Requests received through the form or by email: [TO COMPLETE: retention period for requests, for example 36 months after the last exchange].
- Customer files (quotes, invoices, work done): as long as required by law for accounting and by the warranty on the work.
- Your answer about cookies: 12 months in the cookie, and in your browser's local storage until you erase it.
- Where your visit came from: in your browser until you erase it; once sent with a request, it is kept as long as the request.
Once these periods have passed, the information is destroyed or anonymized.
7. How we protect it
- Everything that travels between your browser and the site is encrypted (HTTPS).
- The site can only add requests to the backup copy, never read back the ones already there: a leaked key would give access to no contact details already collected.
- Requests land in an email inbox whose access is limited to the office staff who call customers back.
- Our providers are established companies, bound by contract to protect the information entrusted to them.
In case of an incident
If a confidentiality incident presents a risk of serious injury to you, we notify you as well as the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec, and we keep a record of it.
8. Your rights
At any time and free of charge, you can:
- see the information we hold about you, and obtain a copy in a structured, commonly used technological format;
- have it corrected if it is inaccurate or incomplete;
- withdraw your consent to its use, including analytics and advertising cookies;
- ask that it be deleted or that its dissemination cease, within the limits allowed by law;
- know who it has been shared with.
